A Brief Overview of Our Everyday Workings

 “The Glen” is now the hub of MCN Brafords and home for Tim, Amy, Eliza, Olivia and Madeline. The new yards have been an invaluable asset for the safe handling of the Bulls and Weaners. Weaners are processed and handled with horses and dogs. From then, the heifer portion are sent to the other blocks and Sale bulls are prepared.


The Glen and Longacre run adjacently growing grain and fodder supply with a very two useful Irrigation bores and excellent creek flats.

Is home for Don & Majella and a developed breeding property, which consistently turns off heavy weaners.


Cows bred at this property have been selected for their tough doing ability, as the winters are usually pretty tough on the Coolibah Ridge. The constitution of these cows has been our brand to breeding tough, adaptable cattle.

Mark & Tara, Lachlan & Georgia hold Kooinda where females are run on Coolibah Rocky Ridges, with the advantage of the warmer winter. Oats and cropping is produced on the Basalt country. Weaners are sent to Kooinda onto Oats and then Forage Sorghum in the summer months. They are grown out in normal commercial conditions and are made to fend for themselves. After 12 months of age, they are assessed for temperament, doing ability and breed type, the culls are fattened and sold.

A new property purchased in 2021, runs as a single sire herd running on creek flats. It has terrific potential for running our weaners. An excellent block and a real asset for stud breeding.
